Rod Serling Memorial Fest

As long as they talk about you, you’re not really dead. As long as they speak your name you continue.  A legend doesn’t die, just because the man dies”. 

This weekend was the Rod Serling Memorial Fest.  There were lectures, discussions, guest appearances, presentations, Film Festival Awards and more.  It was a great time had by all who remembered the genius of Rod Serling. 

What many may not have known is that Rod spoke a “number of times at Broome Community College, including with Johnny Hart and Brant Parker”.  On a related note, My Town has been highlighting in our magazine and on our website and social media the genius of Mason and Mick Mastroianni, the grandsons of Johnny Hart.
