Former Maine resident, Master Sergeant Don Dillenbeck
and US Army Field Band

April 7th the United States Army Field Band will be performing at the Broome County Forum and one of the members of this prestigious band is a former local boy. Master Sergeant Don Dillenbeck grew up in the town of Maine, where his parents still live.  Dillenbeck says he “went to Maine-Endwell Central Schools. After graduating high school, I went to The Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam and received a Bachelor’s degree in music education and performance, and received a Master’s degree in trombone performance from Northwestern University in Evanston, Il.
I chose the Army for my career because I would be performing on trombone and serving my country at the same time, and the Army had a student loan repayment program!
Being in the U.S. Army Field Band is such a great honor, I get to work with great people doing what they are passionate about, performing music. I run the sound system for the Concert Band and Chorus and travel the country representing the Army and to tell the story of the American soldier, I love my job!”

MSG Don Dillenbeck is one more reason to come out and support the United States Army Field Band.
