As we enjoy the holidays,
we will soon be turning the page from one year to the next. As it has for us, and for so many before us, the ball will drop, the stroke of midnight will be shouted, and friends around the world will join together in song, to promise, to remember old times and friends… for Auld Lang Syne.

In Old Scottish,  “for auld lang syne” translates to “for old long since”, which today would mean:‘“for days gone by” or simply: “for old times’ sake”.
