Bartender at Sliderz on the Vestal Parkway

Say hello to Emily Violet our bartender for July. Emily grew up for the most part in Apalachin where one of her many interests was in dance. She has trained in many forms such as ballet, lyrical and jazz.  After graduating from  Vestal  she attended SUNY Binghamton and Cazanovia studying fashion merchandising & design as well as law receiving her bachelors.

But the classroom isn’t the only place you may have seen her.  Emily was on the rowing (crew) team in college so you might have seen her on the Susquehanna River. You may have also seen her photos as she  modeled for a period. Or you may have seen her under the hood of a car. Emily’s father owned an auto shop when she was growing up so one of her favorite hobbies is working on cars from simple tune ups to rebuilding engines.

Vocationally  Emily’s background lends her to so many avenues. She loves bartending as it gives her the opportunity to meet new people. She also loves her work at a law firm here in town as that also gives her an opportunity to help people.

But of course there’s more.  Emily also buys houses to flip and rental properties. And she puts to good use the talent she learned from her father – buying, rebuilding, and selling a few classic cars.   

Emily is another great example of one of our many neighbors who help make the area a great place to live.
